The president of the Junta de Andalucía, Juanma Moreno, canceled his trip to London this Monday to participate in the tourist fair ‘World Travel Market’ (WTM), which will take place between the 5th and 7th of next week. On the morning of this Sunday, sources from the Andalusian Government announced Moreno’s trip in order to maintain a work schedule this Monday before the inauguration Tuesday morning of the Andalusian pavilion at the “Global Travel Market”.

One of the new features of this edition is that the Andalusia Pavilion doubles the number of companies present in the exhibitor’s work area compared to last year, as explained by the Andalusian government.

The Andalusian exhibitor at this tourism fair will have an area of 580.75 square meters25 more than in the previous edition, and will bring together around a hundred businesses from the community and the eight provinces, through their respective tourist offices.
The space dedicated to professional meetings in the pavilion adds 60 registered companies, double the number in 2023, There will therefore be 30 fixed work tables and ten other rotating ones to serve all interested entities and facilitate the generation of contacts and the marketing of the Andalusian tourism product.
Councilor Arturo Bernal highlighted the professional profile and business generation of Andalusia’s presence at the World Travel Market (WTM), during which meetings will be held with around fifty international tourism intermediaries.
Bernal recalled in a press release that this the competition is one of the largest in the tourism industry in the world and the main one in Andalusia’s first international market.
“This allows us to continue to move forward in the recovery of the British issuer through innovative tourism proposals, which influence the differentiation of the destination to attract quality tourism, long stays and high spending”, said the advisor.
