Some media found a reason for the investigation in the fact that Gómez’s defense provided emails to the case that would demonstrate that he committed neither professional intrusion nor embezzlement, as Judge Peinado accuses, because that his efforts in the master’s degree were known, if not indicated, by the Complutense University itself.
These messages included emails that, in Gómez’s place, were written by the assistant assigned to him in Moncloa and who must now testify before Peinado.
