THE Conference of Rectors of Spanish Universities (CRUE) has reached an agreement so that the new Selectivity will be held on the same days throughout Spain: June 3, 4 and 5, 2025.
After the meeting held last week in Bilbao, public and private universities finally reached an agreement for the standardization of the entrance testsomething we had been trying to achieve for years and which until now had only been achieved in the same week.
However, this selectivity would also apply to foreigners from outside the EUfor whom the CRUE will request a delay, although the royal decree which gives validity to this request has not yet been approved. This concern is due to the possible decrease in international students when they know they have to take these four exams.
In addition, on Thursday, the creation of an observatory for each exam subject composed of a professional, who will review the test records of the corresponding subject. Its main function will be that they all have the same structure and that there are no big differences between the exams of the different communities.
