Junts, ERC and CUP accuse Illa of attending an oil festival from Jaén to Sabadell

ERC Deputy Secretary General Marta Vilalta described as “absurd” the fact that Illa was “promoting foreign oil.” “Catalonia is a country of oil, and of excellent quality! Agreeing with her was Jordi Turull, secretary general of Junts, who also accused Illa of celebrating the competitors of Catalan oil producers and accused him of being “a president more concerned with pleasing Spain and the PSOE than to defend Catalonia. “Catalan oil producers produce an excellent product with great effort. They need a president of the Generalitat and a government that supports them and not one that favors competition,” he published in X.

On the same platform, Laia Estrada, CUP deputy in Parliament, considered it “regrettable” that Illa was dedicated to “promoting the oil of Andalusian landowners who are in direct competition”.
