Junts supports PP so that María Jesús Montero explains Catalan concert in Congress

The spokesman of the Junts in Congress, Miriam Noguerasannounced that his party would support the PP so that the first vice-president and Minister of Finance, María Jesús Montero, would appear in the Congress of Deputies to explain “exactly what you agreed to” PSOE with ERC in financing Catalonia.

“For three weeks we have been listening to the ERC saying that an economic agreement has been approved and the PSOE saying that this is not the case. We want Montero to explain to us what has been approved,” Nogueras explained in statements.

The Permanent Deputation will vote this Tuesday on the PP’s request for appearance and the position of the pro-independence party is decisive for this request to succeed.

“At the moment what is happening is that we are not being paid,” Nogueras said this Tuesday in Cardedeu (Barcelona). “We want it Explain to us what was agreed and why Mr. Illa was sworn in as president, the most Spanish CPS in history,” he assured, referring to the investiture agreement of the CPS and the ERC.

He also criticized the fact that Amnesty Law to the former president of the Generalitat Carles Puigdemont: “The problem is some judges of the Supreme Court who refuse to apply a law that was approved by the Congress of Deputies. If these people want to do politics, let them organize elections.”
