US Vice President and Democratic presidential candidate in November, Kamala Harris, has attempted to lower expectations around your campaign and asked “not to pay too much attention to the polls,” which appear to have changed in recent weeks and place her in most cases above her main rival, former President Donald Trump.

“There are 46 days left until the election and, as far as we know, this It will be a close race to the finish.. So let’s not pay too much attention to the polls because, let’s be clear, we are the underdogs in this race and we have a lot of work to do,” Harris said at a campaign rally in Wisconsin, according to information gathered by The Hill Portal.

Harris ran as the Democratic candidate after US President Joe Biden withdrew following weeks of criticism over his health, including his poor performance in a campaign debate with Trump.

Since the vice president took over the Democratic campaignhis party has only progressed in the polls and most polls already give him victory over Trump. On Tuesday, November 5, the American population is called to the polls
