A resident of the Australian town of Moyarra, in the state of Victoria, witnessed an unusual incident on the road: a kangaroo ran in front of his car and seemed to “accompany” him for a while, running in front. The moment, captured on the dash cam, quickly went viral after being posted on YouTube’s ViralHog platform.
The incident occurred on the morning of November 26 around 6:00 local time. The driver said that at that time there was thick fog and wet asphalt on the road due to drizzle. The kangaroo, unable to cross the street, began to run down it, staying right in front of the car. “He slipped several times due to the wet road and the hill, I had to slow down and brake periodically to avoid hitting him,” said the driver.
The animal tried to leave the road several times, but returned. To keep the kangaroo safe, the man was forced to drive slowly, accompanying it until the animal left the road.
This incident serves as a reminder of the importance of driving carefully in areas where roads intersect wildlife habitats. The driver showed sensitivity and care to prevent a possible tragedy.
Previously, Cursor reported that while on vacation in Australia, 26-year-old German paramedic Kasper Krupa experienced an extremely dangerous incident: he was stung by a stonefish, known as the most poisonous fish in the world. The man miraculously survived and compared the sensations he experienced to those of being hit by an elephant.
