Karabakh Chronicle: Azerbaijan’s military innovations

The 148th edition of the “Karabakh Chronicle” program was broadcast.

The host of the program, military correspondent Fardin Isazade, talked about Azerbaijan’s military innovations displayed at the Azerbaijan 5th Anniversary International Defense Exhibition “ADEX-2024” in this edition.

It was reported that one of the innovations is the “Guardian 30” cannon, jointly produced by Azerbaijan and Spain. The weapon has a diameter of 30 mm and can detect targets at a distance of 50 meters to 15 kilometers. The equipment on which the device is installed is capable of destroying stationary ground targets, air targets moving with a low trajectory and conventional enemy equipment moving over water.

Another innovation is the “BETAB-250” aerial bomb, manufactured at the facilities of the Ministry of Defense Industry of Azerbaijan. 250 indicates the weight of the bomb. These pumps drill concrete with a width of 0.8 to 1.1 meters. “BETAB-250” is an innovation in Azerbaijan’s aerial bomb production.

Another innovation in the production of weapons in our country is unmanned aquatic drones. These aquatic drones have a dual purpose. That is, it is used both for civil purposes and as a military kamikaze drone. The drone has a range of 20 miles and a speed of 30 kilometers per hour.
