Kazakhstan is ready to increase oil exports to the German market, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said this at the 5+1 summit of Central Asian countries and Germany in Astana, Sputnik reports.
“We count on the continued support of our German partners to ensure a stable and long-term supply of hydrocarbons.” – said.
Tokayev also invited Germany to join the construction of a line to transmit “green” energy along the bottom of the Caspian Sea and beyond to European countries.
In addition, he offered Scholz cooperation on the principle of “raw materials for technology” in primary and secondary mineral processing in the region and collaboration in the field of critical minerals.
Kazakhstan supplies oil to Germany via the Druzhba pipeline that runs through Russian territory.
