Keep growing, the death of the earthquake of Myanmar is now reached 1,644 people

Myanmar shaken earthquake with size (m) 7.7. The number of victims as a result of the earthquake continues to grow so far, has reached 1,644 people.

Reported by AFP, the number of victims increased after the rescue team investigated the ruins of buildings that collapsed because of the earthquake. For information, a shallow earthquake with Magnitude 7.7 became the northwest of Sagaing City in Myanmar on Friday (28/3) afternoon, followed a few minutes later by the aftershocks with a magnitude 6.7.

The earthquake destroyed the building, turned the bridge off and made a curved road through Myanmar. Major damage caused by the earthquake was seen in Mandalay, the second largest city in the country and at home for more than 1.7 million people.

“We need help,” said Thar Aye, 68 years old, a resident of Mandalay.

“We don’t have enough help,” he continued.

To date, no fewer than 1,644 people have been killed in the earthquake. “More than 3,400 people were injured in Myanmar, with at least 139 others missing,” Junta added in a statement. About 10 dead are also confirmed in Bangkok.

With severe disturbed communication, however, the scale of a disaster that was actually seen only from the country began driven by the army, and the number of victims is expected to increase considerably.

Earlier reported, the M 7.7 earthquake met the northwest of Sagaing City in Myanmar Central on Friday (28/3). The earthquake caused major damage to the majority of the territory of the country.

Earthquake shocks also caused devastating damage in Thailand. The skyscraper that is in the construction phase has collapsed in Thailand. At least, seven people were killed in Thailand and the search for victims was still performed.

In the meantime, modeling the US Geological Service (USGS) or the Geological Agency of the United States shows an earthquake in Myanmar the potential to kill more than 10,000 people.
