Kemi Seba: “Baku has become an important international platform where the problem of colonialism is raised”

“Baku has become an important international platform where the problem of colonialism rises to the global level.”

Oku.Az This was reported by a Pan-African political activist and journalist, known for his anti-colonial and anti-imperialist positions, during his speech at the international conference dedicated to French neocolonialism in Africa, organized by the Baku Initiative Group (BIG). Kemi Seba saying.

He said that France ignores violations of the law itself, but intervenes in human rights issues in other countries and gives recommendations:

“Azerbaijan is already tired of this. Because the French authorities, in addition to criticizing other countries, often violate human rights both on the African continent and in the diaspora, especially against the Afro-descendant population. France is not only trying to dictate conditions for others countries, but also ignores the problems faced by its former colonies.

“However, official Baku has become an important international platform where the problem of colonialism rises to a global level. We have come here to continue our struggle for self-determination,” added Kemi Seba.

It should be noted that Kemi Seba is known as one of the symbolic leaders of African independence, sovereignty and struggle against neocolonial powers. He is also one of the main critics of French neocolonialism. Seba, who was born in Strasbourg in 1981, was included in the Paris “blacklist” as a result of his open and harsh criticism and condemnation of the damage caused by France’s atrocious colonial policy to African countries, as well as those overseas. . territories still enslaved by France. France arrested Kemi Seba several times to silence him, but when he did not get what he wanted, they stripped him of his French citizenship. With this he tried to expose him to the life of exile.

But France could not succeed even in this. Thus, in response to this measure by France, several African countries have granted diplomatic immunity to Seba.

We especially highlight that Kemi Seba, head of the non-governmental organization “Urgences panafricanistes”, special advisor to the head of State of Niger, today has a large number of followers on various social networks. Thus, K. Seban has 1.3 million followers on “Facebook”, 370,000 on “TikTok”, 306,000 on “Instagram”, 280,000 on “X” and 230,000 on “YouTube”.
