Baku TV prepared a report on the ninth day of COP29 within the framework of the “COP-BAKU” project.

Minister of Agriculture of Azerbaijan Majnun Mammadov, who participated in the Harmony Climate Initiative for Farmers event in Baku, shared the successes achieved as a result of discussions with the COP-BAKU program.

Majnun Mammadov expressed his main expectations in the agricultural field from the ongoing talks.
“Our main expectation is to raise awareness. Secondly, it is to move from words to real steps. We see from the support of countries and various groups that this will happen. Our main direction is to take measures against water scarcity, to direct financing in that direction, and then inform farmers about climate change so that they can produce, so that they can continue and increase it,” the minister emphasized.
