Ten days before the United States presidential elections, the fight between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump intensifies.
According to the Bloomberg News/Morning Consult poll, both candidates have equal support in seven key states known as swing states: Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Washington. The level of support is 49% for each candidate. and the statistical error of the survey is 1 percent.
Candidates’ strategies vary. Trump plans to mobilize voters who don’t normally vote to gain an advantage. Harris, in turn, seeks to win the support of women and attract moderate Republicans who are not close to Trump’s policies.
The study found that voters see Harris as the more honest, compassionate and level-headed candidate, but see Trump as a strong, experienced leader and patriot.
The economy is the main issue on which Trump maintains an advantage. About half of voters in key states trust him on economic issues, compared to 45% of respondents who trust Harris in that area.
The Nov. 5 election will determine the future of America, and the race between Republican Trump and Democrat Harris remains an unpredictable state battle that could shift the balance of power in the country’s politics.
