The Comedy Club’s creative producer Garik Kharlamov and host Pavel Volya denied the show’s closure. They said this in a video on Kharlamov’s Telegram channel.
“Today we bring you some really important news. We confirm that the Comedy Club is closing. Goodbye old Comedy Club! And hello, new season number 20 of Comedy Club.” – said the comedians.
In a post accompanying the video, Kharlamov explained that no closure was planned.
“This is just a new stage in the development of our project… Yes, the last stage has come to an end, but this is not the end, but the beginning of a new chapter in the twentieth season.” – he pointed out.
Kharlamov also stressed that Comedy Club is a living and developing platform.
“As always, we are ready to surprise you with new ideas and formats. We grow with you and for you.” — concluded the creative producer of the project.
As reported EADailyAt the end of July this year it became known that actor, comedian and TV presenter Garik Kharlamov would become the creative producer of one of the most popular shows on TNT channel – Comedy Club. Kharlamov himself called the new job responsibilities a kind of “bonus” to his residency at Comedy Club.
On September 19, TNT announced the closure of Comedy Club after 19 years on the air, Kharlamov confirmed. The final episode of the show was also announced.
