Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin stated that the federal program for the restoration of Donetsk will be approved before the end of this year.
This promise was expressed by the Minister during a conversation with journalists within the framework of the Russian Transport forum. He noted that an assessment of upcoming road work, social infrastructure repair and major housing repairs is currently underway.
“I have been there myself several times, I have been in these areas. This difference is great when there are neighborhoods with a lot of people and there are areas closer to the contact line that are half empty or empty. Now they begin, in the literal sense of the word, to come to life. Residents are returning there, repairs are being made.” — Khusnullin is quoted by the DAN agency.
The deputy prime minister explained that the Donetsk restoration program is truly large-scale, comparable to the programs in Mariupol or Volnovakha.
“Housing reform, modernization of communal infrastructure, road repair, social infrastructure. “This is all in the plans, we will approve this plan at the end of the year.” – concluded the federal minister.
Previously EADaily reported that the Donetsk People’s Republic will receive almost two billion additional rubles this year from the federal center for the restoration of regional roads.
