Liputan6.com, pyongyang – The North Korean leader Kim Jong UN expressed the readiness of Pyongyan to support the steps of the Russian authorities at the end of the crisis in Ukraine.
This was transferred at a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergei Lavrov, according to the report of the Central Information Agency of the Korean Agency (KCNA).
On Saturday (7/7/2025), the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs guaranteed that Lavrov and Kim Jong UN met during the visit of the Russian Foreign Minister to the country.
“Kim Jong UN repeats the readiness of North Korea to continue to unconditionally support all the steps of Russian leadership at the end of the situation in Ukraine as a whole and fundamentally, in accordance with the spirit of agreements between the countries between North Korea and Russia,” the KCNA report said.
Kim Jong -un also emphasized that Pyongyang and Moscow had the same views in all strategic issues, reflecting the level of high relations between the two countries, quoted from Antara NewsSunday (7/13).
Nevertheless, according to KCNA, during the meeting, Kim Jong -un asked Lavrov to bring his warm greetings to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
