Both went to greet the dozens of neighbors who were waiting for them in the neighborhood.
Tension during the visit to Paiporta
The kings visit Chiva after the visit they had planned to make was suspended on November 3 due to the incidents that occurred in the town of Paiporta, where the authorities – the kings, the president of the government, Pedro Sánchez; and the president of the Generalitat, Carlos Mazón – were reprimanded upon their arrival and mud, stones and other objects such as sticks were thrown at them.
After this postponement, the Chiva City Hall immediately received the commitment of the kings to visit this city, one of the most affected by DANA, a disaster that caused more than 220 deaths in three Autonomous Communities, most of them in Valencia.
