Ordering a bouquet of flowers in advance has become complicated.
According to vendors, the price of special cakes for the Day of Knowledge starts at 40-43 manats. Cakes with special decorations cost more than 150 manats.
Economists say that every new academic year is marked by artificial tuition growth. The reason for the price increase is precisely the parents themselves.
Economist Fuad Ibrahimov said it is abnormal for 20 students in a class to bring flowers to their teacher:
“If beauty is wasted after a week, it’s just wasted.”
