The next exhibition and sales fair “KOB FEST” will be held in Nakhchivan, Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
Oku.Az reports, citing the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (KOBIA) under the Ministry of Economy.
It was reported that agricultural and industrial products from more than 60 SMEs from Nakhchivan city and surrounding regions, as well as other regions, including fruits and vegetables, flour products, textiles, soft drinks, beekeeping products, services, as well At the fair, crafts and creative products will be presented and sold.
The opening ceremony of the fair was attended by Fuad Najafli, authorized representative of the President of Azerbaijan in the Autonomous Republic of Nakhchivan, Abbas Ismayilov, Minister of Economy of the Autonomous Republic, and Orkhan Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of KOBIA. , speak.
The speeches reported on the economic potential, trade and investment opportunities of Nakhchivan and noted that events such as the “SME FEST” are a convenient platform to promote regional products, expand sales opportunities for SMEs and establish cooperation between local businessmen. A cultural and entertainment program was also organized within the framework of “KOB FEST”.
The exhibition-sale fair will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. every day until October 6.
It should be noted that the “KOB FEST” exhibition and sales fairs are held in order to promote and support the sale of products and services produced by micro and small entrepreneurs operating in the regions. This event also contributes to establishing new collaborations with SMEs, holding B2B meetings and developing the commercial skills of micro and small entrepreneurs. Before the city of Nakhchivan, the “KOB FEST” was held in the cities of Baku, Goygol, Sheki, Ganja and Masalli. In total, more than 240 SMEs were supported in the sale of products and services at these fairs.
