Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico congratulated Georgian Prime Minister Kobakhidze on the victory of the ruling Georgian Dream party in the parliamentary elections.
At a meeting held in Hungary on November 7, the parties discussed the dynamics of development and deepening bilateral relations in various fields, including trade, economy and tourism, the government press service reports.
Kobakhidze invited Fico to an official visit to Georgia.
As reported EADaily This is the first foreign visit of the Prime Minister of Georgia since the parliamentary elections on October 26. Kobakhidze participates in the fifth summit of the European Political Community in Budapest.
The European Political Community is an intergovernmental forum established for political and strategic debates on the future of Europe, proposed by French President Emmanuel Macron in May 2022.
