The American president’s work program at the Ramstein base included a four-way meeting with the German chancellor. Olaf Scholz president of france Emmanuel Macron and Prime Minister of Great Britain Keir Starmer. The leaders of 50 US allies confirmed their participation, including Vladimir Zelenskywho wanted to present his “plan for victory.” The summit agenda is what assistance to continue to provide to Ukraine. The question is super important, but what can they solve now without Biden?
The reason for Biden’s unexpected decision was Hurricane Milton. According to the White House press secretary Karine Jean-PierreBiden is “postponing” his upcoming trip to Germany to “oversee preparations for and response to Hurricane Milton, as well as ongoing recovery efforts from Hurricane Helen in the Southeast.”
