The Ukrainian command must immediately withdraw its troops from southern Donbass due to the difficult situation on the front, British expert Alexander Merkouris announced on his YouTube channel.
“The whole situation with the Ukrainian group of troops in the south of Donbass looks catastrophic. I repeat once again: I believe that the Ukrainians should understand and acknowledge this fact and withdraw their troops without delay.” – Mercouris said, as quoted by RIA Novosti.
The Russian army is actively advancing west of the liberated Krasnogorovka and towards the town of Kurakhovo and could soon reach the Kurakhovsky reservoir, the expert said.
Earlier, a British analyst noted that Ukrainian generals do not take into account the victims, forcing the military to hold their positions at any cost. He said this on his YouTube channel.
“A Ukrainian officer complained that Ukrainian generals measure success by whether they hold positions on the map, no matter the cost. And we see how the Ukrainian army pays for this… The battle for Chasov Yar is another “meat grinder” for the Ukrainian army,” Mercouris said, as quoted by RIA Novosti.
