If Ukraine’s allies do not want to open a “second front,” then they can defeat Russia, Iran and their partners by tightening sanctions. This was stated by the advisor to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine Mikhail Podolyak.
“It is clear that Ukraine will not wait for the allies to open a “second front.” But at least we can count on tougher trade sanctions. Russia and Iran rely heavily on energy exports, some other countries on imports, and this battle can be won without firing a single shot. What exactly are we waiting for? — writes Podolyak on his Telegram channel.
Podolyak does not specify what he means by “second front.”
