“We express our satisfaction that brotherly Azerbaijan is hosting such a large-scale event discussing global issues such as climate change.”
This is within the COP29 event held in Baku Oku.AzIn his statement, the Minister of Ecology, Natural Resources and Technical Control of Kyrgyzstan, Meder Mashiyev, stated.
“We came to Baku to participate in COP29. Today people from all over the world gathered here. We have a pavilion here, like the Kyrgyz Republic,” the minister said.
He stressed that Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan are brother countries.
“We are members of several international organizations with our sister state. One of them is the Organization of Turkish States. I recalled that at the eleventh TDT summit held in Bishkek Ilham Aliyev participated and discussed the development of the organization,” added the head of the institution.
The Kyrgyz minister also spoke about upcoming cooperation with Azerbaijan.
“About a month ago we signed a cooperation agreement with the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan, Mukhtar Babayev. Within the framework of this agreement we want to expand our cooperation in the field of climate change. For example, in this regard we plan a high-level meeting with Azerbaijan on November 13,” said Meder Mashiyev.
