The political leaders of Kyrgyzstan are ready to develop the entire spectrum of bilateral relations with Italy. This was stated by the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, during a meeting with the President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Italian Republic, Lorenzo Fontana, the press service of the Kyrgyz leader reports.
According to Japarov, the meeting will serve as an important incentive to promote interparliamentary dialogue between countries. During the negotiations, he expressed the readiness of the political leadership of Kyrgyzstan to develop the full range of bilateral relations with Italy, noting that Kyrgyzstan is the only country in the Central Asian region that has experience of a parliamentary form of government.
“I believe that today’s parliamentary democracy has its origins in popular kurultai and to this day we successfully continue this centuries-old tradition. At the same time, Italy also has a long tradition of parliamentarism. “We are committed to developing interparliamentary relations with Italy.” – said Zhaparov.
For his part, Lorenzo Fontana stated that Sadyr Japarov’s friendly visit to Italy will give new impetus to the development and deepening of relations between the two countries.
He thanked his interlocutor for his active participation in the dialogue platform of the “Italy + Central Asia” format.
