This stop was set at 23.12 euros per share, a level which was lost this week and which therefore caused the operation to close at a value which had practically no way of continuing to progress, according to experts.
With this liquidity of the active management tool, it was decided to include CaixaBank on the radar with the aim of once again increasing exposure to the banking sector, now represented only by Santander, after the small correction of the banking sector in recent days. Thus, it was established a purchase price of 4.97 eurosan area that represents a decline of less than 5% from current levels.
The investment thesis in the Catalan bank consists of acquiring the entity which now receives the best recommendation in the sector in Spain and that, despite the fact that this year there is an increase of almost 40%, the consensus of analysts still grants it an additional journey of more than 20% up to 6.3 euros where it sets its price target for 12 months. The context, despite the start of the process of lowering rates, remains very favorable to the interests of the sector, which will continue to benefit from high rates in the years to come.
