The Xunta issued the opinion of coastal storm on the coast of A Coruña and Pontevedra. The General Directorate of Emergencies and the Interior has issued an alert orange for the early hours of this Sunday morning. The meteorological entity warns of southerly winds with forces up to 100 kilometers per hour and waves 6 meters high offshore.
The two provinces will be under yellow and orange alert all weekend. The warnings refer to accumulating rain, gusty winds and large waves. Sunday will be the worst day for the two provinces.
The cause of bad weather is the powerful storm Bertwhich will affect the British Isles with a heavy storm of rain, wind and snow. The phenomenon occurs after the passage of the Caetano storm.
Saturday November 23

There will be yellow alert for precipitation of up to 40 liters per square meter at the end of the afternoon in the province of Pontevedra and in a good part of the province of La Coruña. On the coast there will be waves between three and six meters depending on the point.
