Laboratorios Ordesa, manufacturer of Blemil and Blevit infant milk and cereals, brought the head office back to Catalonia. According to company sources, the return of the headquarters, located since 2017 in Huesca, is due to “technical, operational and practical criteria” of the company, assured Ordesa sources.
“After the closure of the Sant Boi de Llobregat factory, Ordesa Laboratories decided to unify all the records of the new offices on Paseo de la Zona Franca in Barcelona -in Torre Ponent-, both the health registry and the head office. In this way, it also brings together in a single headquarters the companies acquired in recent years: Font Activ and Sodeinn,” adds the company.
Ordesa Laboratories have decided in 2022 bet on the sector of food supplements for the elderly, for women’s health or for athletes, and that is why it decided to close the historic Sant Boi factory and outsource the production of its food products.
It is one of the few companies to have returned its headquarters among the thousands who moved it in October 2017, fearing a unilateral declaration of independence from Catalonia.
