The general secretary of the PSOE-Aragon, Javier Lambán, asked this Friday in a letter to the activist to make compatible “the debate of ideas with the necessary unity” with which the Socialist Party must present itself to Aragonese society. The writing comes after a few weeks marked by the confrontation with Pedro Sánchez on the Catalan quota and the criticisms of the PSOE of Huesca, aligned with Ferraz.

The former president of Aragon also assures that the opposition to the Popular Party in the Cortes of Aragon depends on this unity. “is not weakened and overshadowed by internal conflicts.”
“If we want to win the 2027 elections, it is also important to convince citizens that Aragon is the first for us and that loyalty to our land and our compatriots will always prevail over any other; that we are a party with a governmental vocation and a sense of State and that we are willing to make great pacts – as we have always done – to defend our Community against decisions that are detrimental to it,” he says in the letter, published from his profile on X (formerly Twitter), in a formula that recalls the letter to citizens sent by Pedro Sánchez.
Lambán is convinced that at this crucial moment, everyone – including him – at the height of “the brilliant history of the PSOE”. “And above all to that of our beloved Aragon, to whose common prosperity we socialists have contributed so much, to social justice and to growing national and international prestige,” he explains.
