The Ministry of Health, through the Government Delegation for the National Medicines Plan (DGPNSD), launched the auction public more than 100 vehicles seized in drug traffickingincluding six high-end cars (Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche or Audi), from 150 euros.
The money raised from this auction will be donated to drug prevention programs and assistance to drug addicts, as reported in the auction portal’s press release Scrapalie.
The fund of assets seized for illicit drug trafficking and other related crimes consists of assets, effects and instruments seized by a final judgment, which can be sold and liquidated at public auction.
In this context, the public auction of more than 100 vehicles established in several locations in Spain: Málaga (33), Murcia (26), Jaén (19), Valencia (16), Madrid (5) and Almería (4).
Marketing takes place in 12 events different ones which are opening up to electronic public auctions, gradually and via the specialized portal Escrapalia. Any natural or legal person can participate in accordance with the conditions of the auction. So far, 68 vehicles have already been sold at auction.
Currently there is 36 open auctionsamong which six high-end cars located in Madrid stand out (Lamborghini Gallardo, Ferrari F430, Porsche Cayenne, Porsche Boxster, Jeep Wrangler and Audi S5), with a starting price of 150 euros. Bidding will be open until November 21.
Additionally, there is the possibility of visits on November 18 so that all interested parties, upon registration, can view the vehicles.
Lots from 1 euro in Jaén
THE auction of 15 vehicles in the province of Jaen, from 1 euroin which you can bid until November 7 on lots such as two cars and a motorcycle from the Seat, Peugeot and KTM brands or seven cars, a van, a trailer, a quad, a minibike and a bicycle from the Peugeot, Renault brands . , Nissan, Rover, Seat, Kawasaki, MIR Racing and Orbea.
In Almeria Four vehicles (from brands like Audi or Volkswagen) will be auctioned from November 4 to 21.
For each lot, specifications are made available to interested parties, who must first post a guarantee to be able to participate.
In recent years, according to the auction portal, about 70% of revenues have been spent on prevention, assistance and social and professional integration of drug addicts and 30% to the prevention, investigation, persecution and repression of drug trafficking crimes and money laundering and international cooperation in this area.
In 2023 were distributed 28,350,000 euros of the Confiscated Assets Fund for these purposes.
