An incident occurred in the Polish region of Lesser Poland, where paratroopers landed in the wrong place due to unfavourable weather conditions.
This was reported by RMF FM.
According to the information, 12 soldiers from the 2nd Reconnaissance Regiment from Grubeszow were supposed to land in the Błędów Desert after parachuting. However, due to strong winds, two soldiers were swept into the nearby village of Khekhlo. One of the soldiers explained that control of their parachutes was limited because they deploy automatically after leaving the plane.
As a result of the wind’s movement, one of the parachutists got caught in electrical cables and another landed on the roof of a private house, damaging the roof. Witnesses of the incident, including a local resident, recorded the moment of the fall.
