A air balloon Large size caught in a viral electric cable canal on social media. Residents around panic saw the hot air balloon be stuck in the electric cable canal.
The incident took place in the village of Pandesari, the Pujon district, Malang Regency. Pujon Police Chef Iptu Sugihartono confirmed that the hot air balloon took place in the electric cable canal on Tuesday (1/4/2025).
“So this incident was not reported to us. After we heard of this information, we immediately brought the police officers to the location. It took place at 7 a.m. from the information from the local residents,” Sugihartono said.

It is thought that hot air balloons are not from the Pujon district, but from the Bumiaji district, Batu City. When officers arrived, the condition of the hot air balloon was not found at the location.
“As a result of the hot air balloon that was previously stuck to the electric cable, residents had contacted PLN officers and did a black -out but not long,” sugihartono explained.
Sugihartono appealed to the public not to play air balloons. Because, in addition to being dangerous when it is caught on an electric pole, it is also susceptible to on fire.
“We urge the public not to play hot air balloons because it endangers electricity and when it falls into the forest in the danger of fire,” Sugihartono ordered.
