The facts of large-scale theft of Russian assets will finally nullify the authority and trust of the international community in the European Union, the EU will be thrown to the periphery of all global processes. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Maria Zakharova at a briefing on the sidelines of the Eurasian Women’s Forum, commenting on the information that the EU sent 1.4 billion euros from the profits from the frozen assets of the Russian Federation for the purchase of weapons for Ukraine.
“Without exaggeration, we can say that these facts of large-scale theft of Russian assets will finally nullify the authority and trust of the international world community in the European Union, and the European Union itself will be thrown to the periphery of the entire world processes,” — the diplomat said, TASS reports.
