They keep the promise of November 3 with Chiva
With this visit, the kings honor the promise they made on November 3 to the mayor of Chiva, Amparo Fort, when they were forced to postpone their visit after their tense visit to Paiporta with the president of the government, Pedro Sánchez, and the President of the Generalitat, Carlos Mazón, the two politicians that Valencian society designates as the main responsible for the ineffective management of DANA and the deaths that this disaster has caused. They will also visit Letur, in Castile-La Mancha
Don Felipe and Doña Letizia will end the day in Letur, a town with 929 registered inhabitants located 100 kilometers south of Albacete. Of the architectural value of Letur, declared a historic and artistic site, nothing remains after the passage of the DANA. The few inhabitants of this La Mancha village spent days searching, among the rubble and mud, for the six who disappeared after the flood. None of them survived the tragedy. Angie Calero reports.

The kings return to the cities affected by DANA
Two weeks after their visit to Paiporta, where they felt the cry of despair, abandonment and bitterness of the inhabitants of this city affected by DANA, the kings will return throughout the day to the Valencian Community to be with the neighbors of Chiva and Utiel, where on October 29 the disaster claimed the lives of 8 and 6 people respectively.
