Valencia was chosen, for the second consecutive year, by Paulaner beer festival to celebrate a new edition of the official German beer festival. Until September 29, the city reproduces this tradition, with great public success, by becoming the capital of beer.
Coinciding with the Munich Oktoberfest, it hosts next to the Las Arenas hotela large outdoor room of 5,000 m2. In homage to the official beer of the German holiday, visitors are offered the most consumed varieties in the Bavarian city, served by waiters in typical Bavarian costumes and in one-liter pitcher formats as tradition dictates: Münchner Hell, Weissbier and Salvator, among others. You can also choose the alternative with 0.0% alcohol or gluten-free.
In addition, there is a food trucks where you can taste the typical Bavarian gastronomic offer such as pretzels, different types of sausages (bockwurst and bratwurst), shanks and apple pie apfelstrudel. All accompanied by a vast program of entertainment activities, such as the traditional raising of jars in which the public can participate.
The place benefits from a careful staging with artificial grass, lights, decoration with plants, long tables and German-style benches. New this year is that a DJ hosts the event every day, offering a varied musical mix to all participants. Different games and entertainment activities are also offered to liven up the biggest beer festival.
The space also has 8 restaurants in food truck format that offer different gastronomic offerings, such as hamburgers, hot dogs and treats. There are vegetarian and gluten-free options. Entrance is free, the festival is open Monday to Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. and Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m..
