JAKARTA – earthquake with the magnitude (M) 5.0 on Thursday (7/10/2025) in the Tanimbar. It is not yet known whether there are buildings damaged by a large earthquake.
The Agency for Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics (BMKG) guaranteed that the great earthquake in Malyuk did not cause tsunami.
“Earthquake MAG: 5.0, 10-July-25 21.43.42 WIB, there is no tsunami potential,” wrote X BMKG, quoted by Oksone.
It was stated that the coordinates of the earthquake were 6.75 southern latitudes and 129.89 eastern longitude or are located 207 kilometers north -west of the tanimbar. Meanwhile, the depth of the earthquake was 206 kilometers.
