JAKARTA – The target group OPS Damai Cartenz was involved in a shootout with Armed criminal group (KKB) in the village of Baitapa, Sugapa district, Intan Jay Regnsia, Central Papua. The incident occurred today, Saturday (7/7/2025), about 07.14 East Indonesian time.
It was suspected of shootout that one member of KKB Enos Tipagau was killed. CaPS Damai Kartentz Brigadier General Fayzal Ramadhani explained before action, the team first conducted an investigation into the existence of Enos Tipagau and the location of the shelter.
“In the action, which is upstanding today at 07.14 East Indonesian Time, there was a shelling that made Enos Tipagau die,” said Fayzal Oksone.
It is known that Enos Tygau is a prisoner who was sentenced to three years in prison, but escaped from the class of class IIB Nabire.
