Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Hussein Ibrahim Taha held talks in Riyadh, during which they discussed efforts on the Palestinian issue and the situation of Muslim communities in the world, the OIC press service reported on September 9.

The OIC also said that Lavrov and Taha noted “the importance of coordination and consultation in supporting international efforts to ensure peace and stability” in the world, especially in those countries that are members of the organization.
