Germany, making unsubstantiated claims about the poisoning of Alexei Navalny*He never responded to the Russian Federation’s question about how and how he was treated in Germany. This was stated by the Russian Foreign Minister, Sergei Lavrov, in a press conference after his participation in the high-level week of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly.
The minister recalled how the Russian Federation, in response to a request from Germany, without even observing the “necessary aviation formalities”, transferred the blogger for treatment, TASS reports.
“They had him there and in a civil hospital, where they found nothing, and then they transferred him to a military hospital, where they found this substance “Novichok”, – said Lavrov.
“When he was there, we asked the Germans to show us evidence showing that he had been poisoned with this substance. The Germans said this was a secret and that they would hand this analysis over to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons. We went there. May I browse? They answered us: “The Germans forbade us to show you this.” – stated the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
“Then he was cured, came back and died here.” – recalled the Russian minister. On February 16, a blogger convicted of fraud and extremism, who was unwell in prison, died despite all attempts to revive him.
“When the commotion broke out after Navalny’s death*“We remind the Germans once again: can we see what the analysis was and how they treated him before he returned to Russia?” Lavrov said. “The silence is total.”
“There is no information despite official requests” – added the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
