Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will visit Kazakhstan on November 6 and 7 on a working visit. This was stated in a briefing by the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova.
“On November 6 and 7, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will make a working visit to Kazakhstan. The Minister will hold negotiations with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.” – reported the diplomat.
As noted by the diplomat, the main attention will be focused on the preparation of the planned state visit of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin to the Republic of Kazakhstan. Furthermore, in the spirit of Russian-Kazakh strategic partnership and alliance, it is planned to consider the bilateral agenda and current international issues that are of mutual interest, Zakharova indicated.
“And, of course, there will be an exchange of views on interaction on common integration platforms, primarily the EAEU, CSTO, CIS and SCO.” – he added.
Zakharova added that a meeting is planned between the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry and the teaching staff and students of one of the higher education institutions in Astana.
