‘Leak’ of secret Pentagon documents on Israel’s attack on Iran

A White House source confirmed to CNN the authenticity of the top-secret Pentagon documents published on a Telegram channel and containing information about Israeli plans to retaliate against Iran.

Washington expresses “deep concern” about the leak of such documents and is carrying out an investigation, checking the circle of people who had access to materials with such a level of secrecy, media reports citing unofficial sources in the US capital.

The spectrum of access to the documents was quite broad, including the intelligence services of the United States’ closest military allies: Great Britain, Australia, Canada and New Zealand. The leak occurred through a Telegram channel called “Middle East Spectator.”

Thus, the channel flatly denied accusations by the Israeli media about its links with Iran, claiming that it found documents in a closed Telegram group with 7 thousand subscribers and has no information about who the source of the leak is.

The Pentagon and national intelligence agencies declined to comment officially on the matter.

Previously, Cursor wrote that Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant presented a document to the Security Cabinet calling for the immediate conclusion of a ceasefire agreement with the terrorist group Hamas and the release of the hostages.

Additionally, Cursor already reported that famed Likud Knesset member Tali Gottlieb was under criminal investigation for alleged disclosure of classified information. This investigation was launched after his tweet alleging that a Shin Bet agent had contact with Hamas terrorists shortly before the October 7 invasion.
