The General Director of Tourism, Ángel González, participated in the awards ceremony of the Competition, during which he highlighted the “involvement” of the Junta de Castilla y León in this type of specialized competitions. “They position the gastronomy of Castilla y León and strengthen the gastronomic identity of the Community, betting on the territory and local products and promoting a model of gastronomic tourism based on sustainability, quality and diversity, encouraging visitors to discover the cultural and gastronomic heritage of the Community”, he underlined.
