Previously, Lee was investigated by prosecutors for allegedly using One Entertainment’s corporate credit card for personal expenses from 2011 until June of last year.
Lee Sun-hee said, “I’ve been loved by many people for the past 40 years and have had to do everything thoroughly without neglecting anything smaller than anyone else, but I’ve reflected a lot on what I missed under the pretext of not knowing well,” adding, “I’m sorry once again for disappointing many fans who have been comforted and hopeful by my songs for 40 years.” From now on, I will live without shame only as a singing singer Lee Sun-hee,” he said.
Lee was referred to the prosecution without detention last year on charges of misappropriating company funds along with Kwon Jin-young, CEO of her agency Hook Entertainment.
