The Minister of Defense, Margarita Robles, visited the Naval Military School this Wednesday of Marín (Pontevedra), on the occasion of the incorporation of the Princess of Asturias into the classes of tomorrow. Robles, accompanied by the Chief of Staff of the Navy, Admiral General Antonio Piñeiro, and the Commander-Director, Captain Pedro Cardona, appreciated the work of the Navy and the quality of training of this school, which Starting tomorrow, he will have the heir to the Crown among his students.

The minister also received some details on the study plan for this coursein which more than 600 national students will be trained. Robles explained that the Princess of Asturias “She will come tomorrow as another student and will join the third year (year). During these first months, he will be here at school in the same regime as his classmates and, therefore, there is no exceptionmore than those that correspond to the time due to the fact that she is the Princess of Asturias.”
During this course, with Leonor, the Marín school plans to teach 628 national students; 489 from the specific corps of the Navy and 139 from the Common Defense Corps, in addition to the volunteer reservists of the Navy. Likewise, there will be the presence of 23 international students from eight countries that they will follow a complete program or, at least, a semester.
