These are not things of the League, the clubs come together and maybe it is time for them to come together and make a different distribution,” he began, calling for a meeting of the 42 members of the highest categories of Spanish football.
“There is no point in buying a 300 square meter villa, with a pool and everything, spending everything on that and having nothing to eat,” he compared. “And if I have nothing to eat, I will die in a 200 square meter chalet. So we have to see, I don’t know if they will give maybe 5% more, at least so that the money circulates because having it in the CVC will be of no use to us,” he criticized.
“Having a new sports city… We already have a beautiful stadium, a good sports city. It will do me no good to create a better press room or to make boxes or to do a series of things that will not go where they should mainly go, that is to say on the playing field and the footballers.” he continued.
