Leyla Aliyeva visited the cafe “Kashalata”, the first inclusive catering establishment in Baku

Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva He visited the “Kashalata” cafe, the first and only inclusive catering establishment in Baku, where young people with disabilities also work.

AZERTAC reports that Leyla Aliyeva was received by the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, Sahil Babayev, the co-founders of the cafe Natavan Mammadova and Aytan Eynalova.

The vice president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation learned about the activities of this inclusive cafe, created to support the employment of people with disabilities in an inclusive environment. It was noted that the cafe “Kashalata”, located at 57 U. Hajibeyli Street, Baku, was founded on the initiative of the public union “Berge va Sağlam”.

Ten of the 20 young people employed in the “Kashalata” cafe, created with the support of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, KOBIA, SOCAR, “Pasha Holding” and “Trendyol Azerbaijan”, are people with disabilities.

Leyla Aliyeva learned about the conditions and working environment created in the cafe, met and talked with disabled young people who were provided with employment.

The song “You Are Childhood” was performed by the “Blue Hearts” choir and rhythm group made up of young people with autism. Autistic people gave their crafts to Leyla Aliyeva.

Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation took commemorative photographs with employees of the inclusive cafe “Kashalata”.
