Lithuania has become the first country in the European Union (EU) to declare Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) a terrorist organization.
Oku.Az With reference to the “Delphi” portal, it is reported that this decision of the Lithuanian Seimas was announced to journalists by the chairman of the National Security and Defense Committee of Parliament, Emanuelis Zingeris.
“We were the first in the EU to make a statement about the terrorist nature of this organization. Now the Ministry of the Interior must ensure that members of SEPAH do not cross the Lithuanian border,” he said.
