The 6th season of Lucifer was a significant improvement as compared to its last season, and the authors looked to have a clear plan in place from the initial episode until the end of the series. If you have already watched the upcoming season, then you must know that some of the moments were a touch bittersweet, however, still, everyone eventually received their happy ending.
If you’ve watched the previous seasons, you might have guessed before even starting watching the very first episode of this last season, that there is going to be a lot going. There were many unfinished stories from the previous season to wrap up, as well as a major new season’s arc to deal with after Lucifer’s distanced daughter from the future emerged on the scene with some very horrible announcements. Lucifer was about to leave, leaving Chloe on Earth alone and Rory without a father behind him.
What Happened at the End of Lucifer Season 6?
The 6th season of Lucifer delivers a more intimate story than the previous season’s previous chapters. The season culminates in an emotional send-off for the show, with some of the characters parting ways to proceed further in their lives with new chapters, but fans are most interested in what happens to Lucifer and Chloe in the final season.
While things appear to be heading in the right direction in the last and final season of Lucifer, his plan to ascend to the throne of God is complicated by the entrance of Rory, who is revealed as Lucifer and Chloe’s daughter appearing from the future. Rory is enraged with Lucifer for turning his back away from her even before she was born.
Moreover, their path to reconciliation embraces the majority of the last season, with the question of why Lucifer abandoned her and Chloe being unsolved until the last episode of the season.
What the Final Episode of Lucifer 6 Showed?
The final episode of the last season of Lucifer begins with the shocking news that dangerous mercenary Vincent Le Mec has kidnapped Rory alias Lucifer and Chloe’s unknown daughter, who has come from the future to confront her father, Lucifer.
After experiencing immense wrath and contempt towards Lucifer, who had been utterly absent for her whole life, allowing Chloe to raise their daughter alone, Rory manifested the power to jump through time and come from the future. Le Mec decides to kidnap Rory and begins torturing her, tearing out the “feathers” from her wings, with the help of razor-sharp blades that are capable of stabbing even the devil himself, to get retribution for the brutal remorse that Lucifer imposed upon him.
However, finally, Lucifer and Chloe can save their daughter Rory. In the end episode, it has been shown that years have passed. Rory is by Chloe’s bedside when she dies. Rory has just returned from a journey into the past and she inquires about Chloe’s ability to put up with her, as she knows what Lucifer had done for them. Lucifer has usurped Linda’s place in hell and now he’s a therapist to the lost souls.
A sudden knock comes at the door and the back of the door standing one and only, Chloe. Chloe approaches Lucifer while saying that he could benefit from a partner. As a result, Lucifer’s story concludes with Chloe joining him in Hell and both of them living happily ever after.
