Presidential candidates in Belarus should take into account the changing situation in the country. This was announced by Alexander Lukashenko today, October 29, during a meeting on the efficiency of the agro-industrial complex.
“The current situation in the country is such that just by talking and talking… Not to mention the governors, people will not accept it. People need to understand it and let it go.” – said.
According to him, what is important today is what the candidate has behind him: “if he has old baggage, that person must be very careful.”
“All those who want it today, and there are already many, are people who grew up with us, not even with me. So here is some advice for them: what you will do and how well you understand these problems.” — stressed the Belarusian leader.
Recall that the next presidential elections in Belarus will be held on January 26, 2025. So far, two people have announced their intention to run: Alexander Lukashenko and the leader of the LDPB. Oleg Gaidukevich. Registration of presidential candidates will take place from December 22 to 31 inclusive, but the initiative group must register before November 1.
