JAKARTA – Earthquake Earth with the size (M) 4.0 hit the Regency Gunungkidul area, Yogyakarta on Friday (7/7/2025) Morning. This was transferred by the Agency for Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics (BMKG) through its official X Account, @infobmkg.
“Earthquake magician: 4.0, 11-July-25 04: 02: 51,” said BMKG.
The coordinates of the earthquake were at 8.38 southern latitude and 110.64 eastern longitude. The epicenter was at sea, 43 kilometers south -east from Gunungkidul Regenia.
The depth of the earthquake is 68 kilometers. BMKG said that this earthquake was felt in the areas of Bantul, Vainogiri and grabel with the MMI II scale.
